The Five Design Principles that Electrify a Gathering

Hundreds of gatherings later, we’ve seen what works, and what really doesn’t — these five principles will guide our work together

  • A great gathering doesn’t just feel good — it does good. We start each engagement with a Visioning Call, where we discuss the change you want to create, then reverse-engineer a gathering that gets you there

  • People need a stake, not a seat. Before anyone walks through the door, we ask: What do they need? What will make it land? We weave their input into the agenda, the experience, and the aftermath — so it’s something they’re part of, not something done to them

  • Don’t fight attention spans, work with them. We vary the pace, format, and energy — mixing group sizes, activity styles, and tone — so the experience demands attention, and earns it

  • You can’t have breakthroughs without breaks. Our programs are brave enough to slow down, leaving space to reflect, digest, and spark unstructured, meaningful connection

  • The details do the storytelling, so make sure they say the right thing. From opening slides to parting gifts, every choice tells a story, and we won’t waste a word. We make sure the small things speak volumes
